Adele says son Angelo felt he was being bullied at school as girls chased him
Adele has revealed there has been one incident at her son Angelo's school as girls chased him to ask if his mum is the Hello hitmaker.
The 33 year old, who recently teased her new single and announced the launch date of her comeback, shares her nine year old with ex husband Simon Konecki, 47, who she divorced earlier this year.
Speaking to Vogue US, the star explained that Angelo thought he was being bullied by his classmates as she said: "There were a few older girls who chased him around, asking if I was his mom."
She continued: “He was just like: 'I think her name’s Adele, yeah. My mom. My mom.' I’m not Adele to him.
"He felt like he was being bullied, because they were annoying him. I said: 'That’s not bullying. Just say, "Yeah, she’s my mom. She wiped my a**."'"
Adele went on to discuss how her son has handled her divorce from his father Simon.
The pair decided to part ways after a short marriage but have remained good friends and even live across the street from one another in the US.
The singer said she isn't sure she'll ever be able to forgive herself for making her son unhappy with her decision to part ways with Simon.
However, she believes if she can find happiness herself and if he sees that, then it could be possible.
“If I can reach the reason why I left, which was the pursuit of my own happiness, even though it made Angelo really unhappy – if I can find that happiness and he sees me in that happiness, then maybe I’ll be able to forgive myself for it," she said.

Adele explained that one day when Angelo was just six and a half years old, he asked her: "Can you see me?"
She went on: "And I was like, 'Uh, yeah.' And he was like, 'Cause I can’t see you.' Well, my whole life fell apart in that moment. He knew I wasn’t there.”
It was at that moment that she decided to have regular conversations about what was happening between herself and his father. Adele added: “That’s when I started sharing with him.”
The star also said she wrote her next album for Angelo in an attempt to explain things to him about their lives after her separation from Simon.
