Billie Eilish Announces New Single ‘My Future’
Alt-pop star Billie Eilish announced on social media last Friday (July 24) that she will be releasing a new single, titled “my future,” on Thursday (July 30).
“Billie Eilish – ‘my future’ Out next Thursday,” the 18-year-old, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter posted on Twitter.
Eilish also announced the news on Instagram along with a picture of herself on a rooftop, in a mask, with the Los Angeles skyline in the background.
“my future” will be Eilish’s first new music since her James Bond theme song “No Time To Die” back in February.
In a recent episode of the singer’s Apple Music show, “me & dad radio,” Eilish discussed many of the musicians and songs that she adored as a child, including Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, and Avril Lavigne.
Eilish also revealed that she was entirely taken aback when she found out that Spears had posted a snippet of herself dancing to “bury a friend” and “Bad Guy.”
“Shout out to Britney too!” she said. “She posted a couple of videos to my songs and I almost pooped my pants. So I love you, Britney.”
