Coleen Rooney has reportedly admitted she was left feeling she “didn’t know who to trust” after private stories were leaked from her Instagram page.

The 34 year old wife of Wayne Rooney accused Rebekah Vardy’s Instagram account of leaking false stories about her last year.

And Coleen is now being sued for libel by 38 year old Rebekah, who recently shared her determination to clear her name.

Now, in new documents reportedly filed as part of the suit, Coleen’s legal team are said to have claimed she was “deeply distressed” at the thought of someone sharing details from her private account to the press.

They state: “The unauthorised disclosure of private material from the Defendant’s Private Instagram Account was deeply distressing to the Defendant [Coleen].

“The Defendant was left not knowing who to trust,” the Mirror Online reports.

Coleen also shared the Instagram photos she posted on her private Instagram which she claimed she used to expose the mole.

In court documents, obtained by Mail Online, Coleen posted three photos to her private Instagram story and appear to show Rebekah Vardy’s Instagram account as the only user who viewed them.

In one, an airline seat can be seen, which Coleen wrote over: "Let's go and see what this gender selection is all about," followed by a nervous emoji and five pink heart emojis.

Another sees a selfie of Coleen, over which she explained she's going back to work as she wrote: "Up and out!! Easing my way back into work!! TV decisions today … maybe it's time for Australia @claireroon".

And a third was a simple photo of a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, over which she wrote: "Needed after today… flood in the basement of our new house… when it all seemed to be going so well".

The 55-page document details her defence against Rebekah, who was recently confirmed for Dancing on Ice, and laid out exactly why she believes Jamie Vardy’s wife was the one who leaked the stories to the press.

A representative for Coleen reportedly told the publication of the document: "Coleen has always been confident of her position, although she takes no pleasure in now having to set out in public court documents the reasons why.

"It remains a matter of deep regret to her that Rebekah seems determined to persist with court action despite Coleen's offers of private mediation. Coleen believes the money being spent could be put to much better use in these times."
