Declan Donnelly reportedly delivered an "emotional" speech at his best friend Ant McPartlin's wedding on Saturday, where he acted as best man.

Ant, 45, married his partner of three years, Anne-Marie Corbett, at a star-studded ceremony in Hampshire on Saturday.

As part of the nuptials, Dec, also 45, is believed to told attendees how Ant was "the best friend a man could have" before reading a prayer at the ceremony.

Anne-Marie's two daughters from her previous marriage also performed readings, according to The Sun, including the touching Richard Bach poem The Bridge Across Forever, which speaks about finding your soulmate.

Part of the poem read by the two teens reads: "A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks.

"When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be."

Ant and Dec appeared at the Hampshire wedding where the ceremony took place shortly after noon on Saturday, wearing matching suits.

The pair smiled for the cameras and gave a thumbs up as they posed outside the church.

Other showbiz names in attendance at the wedding were Christine Lampard and her husband Frank Lampard, Phillip Schofield and his wife Stephanie Lowe, and Dermot O'Leary and his wife Dee Koppang.

Ant's former SM:TV co-host Cat Deeley and comedian husband Patrick Kielty and his Britain's Got Talent co-stars Alesha Dixon and David Walliams also celebrated his big day with him.

Fellow BGT star Amanda Holden was invited but was unable to attend, but it is believed Simon Cowell was not on the guest list.

Ant and Dec work with music mogul Simon on Britain's Got Talent and have opened up in the past about a showdown they had with him over "editing" of the show back in 2012.

The Geordie duo flew out to LA to talk to Simon – writing about it in their book, Once Upon A Tyne.

"The audition days had been long, which in itself we don't mind, but after filming interviews and interacting with every single act, as well as making jokes, giving reactions and everything else we always do, we found that when the show went out on TV, we hardly seemed to feature in it at all," they wrote.

"We began to feel we were wasting our time doing the auditions because all the work we were doing was ending up on the cutting room floor."

Dec wrote that Simon promised things would change and he kept his word when they returned to filming.

The trio have now moved on and enjoy a good relationship.

Amanda, 50, took to Instagram to share a photo of the pair laughing during BGT auditions, writing: "So sorry we will miss @antanddec special day ..we are still away sending our love and huge congratulations to Ant & Amzie on this amazing day.."
