Clara McGregor, who is the eldest daughter of famed actor Ewan McGregor, revealed how she was forced to head to the emergency room, after being bitten in the face by a dog. The actress and producer took to Instagram to share the news with a photo of her facial injuries.

The 25-year-old uploaded a snap of herself on the red carpet at the premiere of The Birthday Cake at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas.

Clara could be seen with bite marks on her nose and underneath her eye.

She took to social media to let fans know why she has cuts on her face whilst walking the red carpet.

In view of her 54,000 followers, the actress revealed ahead of her red carpet debut how she suffered the injury.

Clara wrote: “When a dog bite lands you in the ER 30 mins before the red carpet … thank you @themobmuseum for having us, @thebirthdaycakemovie comes out in theaters and on VOD June 18th!”

The producer posed for photos at the event with her younger sister Esther; the film’s director Jimmy Giannopoulos as well as actors Joe D’Onofrio and Tyler Dean Flores.

She also took to her stories following the incident and added “make-up courtesy of dog teeth”.

Alongside pictures of the premiere, Clara shared images of herself while sitting in a hospital bed.

Clara still looked to have a great time at the premiere despite the nasty cuts to her face.

“I fell in love with film then, but even more so after visiting my father at work and seeing how it all happens.”

She added to Wonderland magazine: “I was in awe on movie sets and always knew I had to end up on one.”
