Charley Webb, who is best known as playing Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale, has given an insight into her journey recovering from hair loss. The mum-of-three explained that she began to lose “clumps” of hair while pregnant.

The ITV favourite made the candid admission while promoting a paid advertisement on Instagram.

The Debbie Dingle star, 33, revealed she turned to vitamins that prevent hair loss to restore her golden tresses as she promoted the brand Swiss Me.

The small-screen star also shared an image that highlighted the hair loss she experienced during her pregnancy.

In view of her 541,000 followers, Charley began: “I first discovered the vitamins because my hair – when I was pregnant with Ace – was so bad. It was falling out in clumps. It was just awful.”

She added: “It was really getting me down.”

The Emmerdale actress went to say that the vitamins she began to take assisted in restoring healthy hair.

Charley said: “It changed everything. It’s back to normal. It’s thick again and it’s not flat.”

The TV star went on to share a series of photos of when her hair had become damaged.

She explained that her hair had previously been “dry” and “brittle” before sharing a clump she lost after taking a shower.

Charley captioned the post: “Looking back at these pictures makes me realise just how awful my hair was and how much of it was falling out. I’d forgotten how bad it actually got.

“The gummies have changed everything for me. My thick hair is back (hallelujah). And it now grows so fast.

“If you’re struggling with your hair, nails or your skin, these are the one.”

Meanwhile, Charley recently explained why she doesn’t celebrate a traditional Christmas with her family.

The Emmerdale star, who is married to her co-star Matthew Wolfenden, shares three sons together – Buster, 11, Bowie, five, and two-year-old Ace.

Charley has since told fans that they won’t be having a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

Instead, the family will be tucking into a curry which they do every year.

In a Q&A with fans on her Instagram Stories, she was asked: “Will you be cooking Christmas dinner?”

And she replied: “Absolutely not.

“Also we have a curry on Christmas Day. I’m not a fan of turkey and we have a roast every Sunday so it makes sense.”
