And Gillian Anderson displayed a prosthetic baby bump as she filmed scenes for series three alongside her on-screen partner Mikael Persbrandt and son Asa Butterfield at a hospital in the fictional town of Moordale on Friday.
The actress, 52, highlighted her frame in a flowy floral print dress as she tapped into the role of Dr Jean F. Milburn with her co-stars.

At one point, the screen star appeared to cradle her fake bump as she engaged in conversation with the Swedish actor, 57, who plays Jakob.
The couple endure an on-off romance on the series, with the mechanic calling it quits from the intimacy specialist after she kisses her ex-husband Remi (James Purefoy).
At the end of the latest season, Jean declares her love for Jakob, but he is left unconvinced and dismisses her advances.

Speaking to PORTER, the 24-year-old admitted the set has become ‘very regimented’, with coronavirus testing being carried out twice a week to ensure the cast and crew’s safety.
However she said sex scenes will still be included: ‘We’re all still, like, hugging and making out… and doing intimate scenes.’
In September, Netflix shared a snap of a doodle-covered script on Instagram, while the show’s account posted a video of the cast getting prepared to leave lockdown and head back on set.

Actress Aimee Lou Wood, who plays Aimee Gibbs, recently spoke to Digital Spy about her hopes of the show making it to screens by early next year as she said: ‘It looks like it’s on track.’
And after having already read a script for the first episode of season three, she teased that it’s ‘really, really good’.
She went on: ‘I’m desperate to see more. I’m so desperate, especially because I feel like the last season left us all in such interesting positions. But where the characters could go now is kind of limitless.’

It was revealed back in February that Sex Education had been renewed for a third season.
The show’s first season revolved largely around Otis falling for bad-girl Maeve and his effort to lose his virginity.
The awkward high school student initially made a name for himself offering sex advice to students despite not actually engaging in the act himself.
