Gordon Ramsay has fired back at critics who previously slammed his £19 fry-up.

The 54 year old star recently unveiled his British breakfast at his central London restaurant the Savoy Grill.

Unfortunately for Gordon it turned into a kitchen nightmare as Twitter users flooded his post with criticisms.

The majority of complaints aimed at Gordon were over the price of the breakfast and the amount of missing items from the plate.

Never one to hold his tongue, Gordon has now responded to the critics and says he stands by his breakfast.

The reality TV chef told Insider: “I stand by it. I swear by it. And it is one meal that I would even eat as a last supper.

“It has to be a full English breakfast with extra baked beans.

“And you know what? If you're worried about the price, you can't f**king afford it.”

Gordon’s controversial breakfast is made up of two fried eggs, one sausage, a mushroom, one grilled tomato, several rashers of bacon, and a pot of baked beans.

In September, he labelled one person an “idiot sandwich” after he came under fire for sharing a picture of his £19 Full English breakfast.

“The most amazing Full English…. can't wait for you to try it from 21st September at Savoy Grill!” he wrote, with an accompanying picture of the cooked dish.
