Jade Goody’s son Bobby reunites with Jack Tweed for fundraiser in her honour

Jade Goody’s teenage son has reunited with his late mum’s husband Jack Tweed to help fundraise in her honour.

Bobby Brazier, 18, and his younger brother Freddie, 17, were close with Jack before their mum’s tragic death from cervical cancer in 2009.

Jack, 34, recently admitted that he felt closer to Jade by reconnecting with the boys, who went to live with their dad Jeff Brazier after their mum's death

They were just four and five at the time.

Last year, Jack said that he “desperately missed” Bobby and Freddie, and so he reconnected with his former step-sons at the home of James ‘Arg’ Argent.

Jack has now set up a cancer rehabilitation centre charity in memory of his late wife Jade, who died at just 27 years old.

Jade's model son Bobby has shown his support for the charity by sharing a link to an upcoming ball event in July.

The event will be hosted by former TOWIE star Mark Wright, and another TOWIE cast member Arg will be performing with his band.

The event is set to take place at Down Hall Hotel & Spa in Bishop’s Stortford, where Jack and Jade got married in 2009 before she died. Tickets for the fundraiser cost £125.

Jack announced the creation of the new charity in a video posted online.

He said: "I'm proud to announce I've set up my own cancer rehabilitation charity in aid of my late wife, Jady Goody.

"This is very close to my heart and cervical cancer has affected millions of people all over the world.

"On Thursday, July 21, I'll be hosting a ball in aid of Jade at Down Hall where we got married."

Jack fought back tears as he continued to explain the event: "Mark Wright will be hosting the night and we've got the Arg band performing and to top it off we've got a set from DJ Colin Francis.

"There's going to be welcome drinks and a beautiful three-course meal.

"We've got an auction, we've got a raffle and we've got games throughout the night.

"For tickets and enquiries go to @cancerrehabtrust and we hope to see you there."

The charity ball will be the perfect opportunity for Jack and the boys to bond over the memories of Jade.

Jack helped Bobby celebrate his 18th birthday last year after being let back into their lives in 2018.

The 34 year old had to focus on "sorting himself out" after Jade's tragic death in 2009, after his behaviour landed him in jail.

After marking the 13th anniversary of Jade's death, Jack toldThe Sun: "I speak to the boys much more now than I did and that really helps.

“They message me and I love being in their lives again.

"I've never tried to replace their dad, I know that I'm not their father, but they know that if they ever need anything, they can speak to me.

"It makes me feel a lot closer to Jade when I talk to them, and I know she would be so happy that we are close again."
