Katie Price says she and fiancé Carl Woods have set their wedding date

Katie Price has confirmed that her and Carl Woods know the date they will be tying the knot this year.

The reality star, 43, has not revealed the exact date, but in an Instagram exchange with celebrity make up artist Ferne Howe-Shepherd, the star announced an agreement had been reached.

The news was confirmed in a comment underneath a post by make-up artist Fern, who boasts clients including Loose Women star Stacey Solomon and the actress who is best friends with Khloe Kardashian, Malika Haqq.

Fern posted: "Taking your bookings for 22/23 for your special day. Message me for my BRIDAL packages." The highest profile name in the comments was TV star Katie, who excitedly wrote, "yes we have our date", with three fire emojis accompanying the news.

Katie's engagement to fiancé Carl Woods, 32, was already known after the couple's announcement in April last year.

But the couple have not publicly revealed a date for the big day and Katie has previously said it will be very different to her previous weddings.

Recently, Katie told Good Morning Britain her plans to have a 2022 free from drama but full of wedding bells and children. She told host Susanna Reid: "This is the year for me babies, marriage I want it all. Like I said before, I've definitely found the one with Carl and we will get married and it will be in England."

The former I'm A Celebrity star explained her wedding plans further. She added: "It always will in England because, obviously, the family and my mum's terminally ill, she can't travel. And I'd never get married unless my mum is there as well."

The model also revealed in her appearance on the ITV show, alongside son Harvery, she will continue to have therapy following events surrounding her car crash in September last year.

The star received a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to drink driving.

The model told Susanna: “The events leading up to it were really traumatic and it’s still been traumatic after so I’m not ready to talk about it yet."

She continued: “But what I can say, is obviously I went to The Priory and I’ve made the decision finally that I see a therapist every week forever to deal with the traumatic events that led me up into that car."

The star continued: “There’s reasons for why I got in that car and my mental state, but yeah when I’m ready to talk about it I’ll talk about it.”
