Krishnan Guru-Murthy wife: Who is Channel 4 presenter married to?

Krishnan Guru-Murthy is a household name thanks to his work as a journalist and broadcaster with Channel 4. He is known for his confrontational interview style, with some interviews going viral online. The 49-year-old was born in Liverpool, and currently lives in London with his family.

So who is his wife?

Krishnan is married to Lisa Guru-Murthy, and the couple have two children.

Krishnan wrote a humorous article for the Guardian section ‘Last weekend’ in 2006 when their first child, Jasmine, was nine months old.

In it, he shared details of his domestic life with Lisa.

He wrote of his Saturday: “Lisa has nipped out to some kind of modern-day Tupperware party, where women who have no time to shop invite friends to their homes to buy clothes.”

He revealed how he was introduced to his wife by Tim Hincks, the chief creative officer of Endemol UK, and his wife, Pippa.

He wrote: “Tim worked with me on a show and introduced me to Lisa, who worked with his wife, Pippa.

“Now, much more importantly, we play in a band together.

“But we don’t talk rock’n’roll in front of wives – they don’t take us seriously.”

He shared how he struggled with a hangover and a young baby, saying he realised “he’s too old to drink”.

Krishna has a sister, Geeta, who is also a news presenter and journalist, with BBC News.

His brother Ravi is a Chief Innovation Officer of the International Rescue Committee.
