Loose Women’s Linda Robson shares miscarriage experience after Jessie J inspired her

Regular Loose Women panellist Linda Robson has opened up about her own heart-breaking miscarriage, following the tragic news that Jessie J has lost her pregnancy.

Jessie J shared her grief with fans on social media on Wednesday, explaining that she was: “Overwhelmed with sadness” following a miscarriage.

The star has been sent thousands of messages from well wishes following her heart-breaking news. The Loose Women panellists were discussing the development and Linda Robson shared her personal story.

She told her fellow panellists: “After I had Lauren and then Louis, I got pregnant again for the third time.

“I was really excited about it and had my scans and everything was right in the first three months, scans and everything, and then I started to feel a bit strange.

“You know, when you just know that it’s not the same as the other pregnancies and something’s not quite right there. So I rang the hospital and asked if I could come in and have another scan.”

Linda explained that her husband was not at home at the time, and her daughter was at school, so she attended the scan with her son Louis.

“I got there are they scanned me and the nurse went to me, ‘I’m just gonna have to call somebody in to see you’ so I thought, that’s not sounding good.”

A doctor came and explained to Linda that they were unable to find a heartbeat and told her to go home and come back to following day.

Linda said: “That was a really hard day, like going home that night and knowing that I’d have to go in and have suction the next day.”

It was Jessie J’s honesty about her miscarriage that meant Linda shared her own personal experience.

The Bang Bang singer has been sent thousands of messages of support, including some from singer Paloma Faith who opened up about her own experience of miscarriage and supported Jessie’s decision to keep on working.

Paloma said: “Jessie you are 100% doing the right thing,” the 40-year-old wrote, as she supported Jessie for wanting to get back on stage despite her heartbreak.

“I had a miscarriage on a film set where I was filming and I just kept filming… You get your joy from singing and you need your joy more than ever,” Paloma continued.

“You will and should have a baby… Women are amazing!” she sweetly added.

Jessie, who was planning to have her baby alone, has previously spoken about her own struggle to fall pregnant.
