Molly-Mae Hague snaps back at haters and says she obsessed over diet before fame
Molly-Mae Hague has snapped back at haters who send vicious trolling over her bikini body and insisted she's much 'healthier' now since gaining weight.
The Love Island beauty, 20, admitted she is now a super-slim size 6 instead of being a tiny size 4, but also confessed she feels less confident since gaining a stone and a half.
The blonde bombshell also revealed she used to be 'obsessive' over her weight, by calorie counting and sticking to her strict gym regime.
She recently opened up about her experience with vile comments from trolls about her body and being a healthier weight after Love Island during an interview with OK! Magazine .
The social media influencer told the publication: "I was a stone and a half lighter a year ago but that’s because I was at the gym twice a day, and was obsessed with my diet – all I was eating was couscous and rice.
"It was probably unhealthy, and I was extremely underweight for my height. I was a size four. I might not be as confident in my body as I was before, but I am healthier."
Molly-Mae, who is in a relationship with co-star Tommy Fury , addressed the fat-shaming she has become subject too since posting pictures of herself in a bikini on social media.
She recently said she is "no longer obsessed with her diet" and and that she has been forced to develop a 'thick skin' since leaving the Love Island villa as a runner up alongside her hunky boxer beau.
Molly-Mae's also said she was left feeling insecure after some negative comments recently, but was trying to rise above it.
The stunning TV star was in the firing line for trolls just weeks ago when she was accused of 'blackfishing'.
The Instagrammer was faced with fierce backlash after she posted a video online showing her doing her make-up, and she was using a base darker than her natural skin tone.
Throughout her time in the Love Island villa, Molly-Mae's feelings for Tommy were doubted, with some people accusing her of just using him to win the show's cash prize.
The social media sensation and Tommy, and pal Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, are the only surviving couples.
The couple are planning to visit each other's families over the Christmas period before jetting to the Maldives on a romantic break.
Molly-Mae even recently hinted that Tommy may propose before the year is up during their luxurious getaway.
The boxer, 20, recently revealed he is one for tradition, by admitting he would never allow his girlfriend to take the reigns in asking him to marry her.
He said: "Any man who lets a woman propose is not a man. It’s obviously gone wrong somewhere. Imagine if she did that!"
