Adam Peaty, 26, has been wowing audiences on Strictly Come Dancing with his partner Katya Jones. However, the Olympian has now clarified rumours about stepping back from his professional swimming career.
Posting on social media yesterday, Adam admitted he’d been asked a lot about his future in the sport.
This comes as he competes in the BBC hit series Strictly Come Dancing.
Thankfully, the Olympian has now reassured his fans that he’ll be sticking around.
Writing on Twitter, Adam shared some snaps of him in a pool.
Alongside this, he penned: “I will be back.
“I’ve had so many people ask me if I’m retiring from sport since I’m dancing on TV.
“A change of stimulus is never a bad thing.”
The star then finished his tweet with a praying hands emoji and a lightning strike emoji.
Following his post, Adam was inundated with support from his 137,000 followers.
User @ElaineFaux005 wrote: “Loving your hard work and performances on Strictly.
“A change is as good as a rest :-).”

Adam has been wowing the judges and audiences on the Strictly dance floor.
He managed to shoot up the leaderboard last week following a passionate Argentine Tango.
They found themselves in third place after landing 32 points from the judges on Saturday night.
However, some viewers had been left wondering if they’d almost kissed at the end of the routine.
Adam squashed rumours earlier this week as he took to Twitter.
Writing on October 17, he penned: “My favourite dance so far.
“Thankyou to everyone who has sent supporting messages! I loved it. (sic)
“To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences.
“I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.”
