Wilco Announce Three-Night Iceland Residency

Alternative rock band Wilco have announced a three-night Iceland residency scheduled for next year.

For the first time, the band will play a 3-night residency at Eldborg Hall, located within the HARPA Concert and Conference Centre in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, during April 6-8, 2023.

“Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime experience as we celebrate nearly 30 years of Wilco in a country just as unique as the band themselves,” the band said in a statement announcing the residency.

“We’re extremely excited to finally be playing Iceland for the very first time. We can’t wait to experience the culture and people of Iceland—who’ve been the source of so much great music and art. We’re looking forward to making some incredible memories with our fans from around the world,” said Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche.

Pre-sale registration lottery for tickets is open now through August 16, and general on sale begins on August 30.

Meanwhile, Wilco is set to embark on a tour in support of their new album, Cruel Country, on August 12.
