Billie Eilish Displays Her Creative Vision as Director With ‘xanny’ Music Video

The ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker’s directorial debut comes just weeks after she became the youngest artist ever to score Grammy Awards nominations in the four major categories.

AceShowbizBillie Eilish has made her debut as a video director by stepping behind the camera for her new “xanny” promo.

The video dropped on Thursday, December 05, and the “Bad Guy” singer can’t wait for her fans to see it.

“I’m very excited to share my directorial debut,” she says. “Visuals are so important to me, and I’m very proud to be in a place where I can present my creative vision exactly as I want it. Thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me.”

The video wraps up an incredible 2019 for the teenage star, who made history last month by becoming the youngest artist ever to score Grammy Awards nominations in the four major categories among her six-nod haul.

She also picked up Favorite New Artist and Favorite Alternative Rock Artist trophies at the American Music Awards, where she made her televised award show debut with a powerful performance of “All the Good Girls Go to Hell”.

She was also named Variety magazine’s Hitmaker of the Year, Billboard’s Woman of The Year and Apple Music’s Global Artist Of The Year.

Her new video dropped hours after it was announced Eilish will be the subject of an upcoming Apple TV+ documentary, produced by creatives at the singer’s Interscope Records label.
