Liam Gallagher’s most explosive celeb feuds exposed as star releases new album
Liam Gallagher is hitting headlines today as he releases new album Why Me, Why Not?
And to celebrate, we decided to look back at the Oasis frontman's biggest feuds over the years.
As well as his undeniable musical ability, Liam is beloved by his fans for his no-nonsense approach to saying exactly what he thinks about people – especially on his Liam Gallagher Twitter page.
But what are Liam's most explosive spats?

Liam Gallagher v Robbie Williams
Liam and Robbie Williams, 45, were good friends in the mid-90s but their friendship wasn't to last, and ended in a now-iconic moment at the BRIT Awards in 2000.
After being branded "the fat one" from Take That, Robbie took to the stage to ask if anyone wanted to see him fight Liam.
"Would you pay to come and see it? Liam, a £100,000 of your money and a £100,000 of my money.”
The pair never appear to have patched things up – so, it looks like a collaboration won't be happening anytime soon!
Liam Gallagher v Sacha Baron Cohen
Sacha Baron Cohen and Liam famously fell out after Sacha admitted Liam was his inspiration for his Nobby, the dimwitted lager lout, he played in comedy film, Grimsby.
On the Conan O'Brien show, Sacha, 47, claimed Liam threatened to stab him in the eye over the role.
He alleged the star threatened: “You know what, I'm going to stab you. I'm going to stab you in the eye…"
Sacha sarcastically added: "I thought to myself, I've never heard such a specific threat. That's a good aim."
In a recent interview with Junkee, Liam discussed the pair's feud.
"That f*****g geezer Sacha Baron Cohen. He’s full of s**t, mate.
"Was that after I f*****g threatened to stab him? Was that that one? He’s a good comedian but he’s a bit f*****g jackin’ on, innit.
"I remember that night as well because I think he was trying to tell some f*****g story."
When asked if he threatened to stab the Ali G star, Liam added: "Mmhmm. Because he was getting lippy. He said I was gonna stab him in one eye, but I said two."
Liam Gallagher v Kaiser Chiefs
Liam Gallagher and the Kaiser Chiefs' fallout all started when the Oasis legend pulled out of the Fall in Love festival in Bulgaria on September 1 this year, due to safety concerns.
The Kaiser Chiefs tweeted about his decision to withdraw: "If we found out a stage wasn’t safe, we’d tell the other bands on there too, right?
"Safety comes first for everyone. We must have broken it putting on a rock ’n’ roll show thirty minutes before you."
Liam fired back: ‘This one's for p***flap out of the Kaiser Chiefs.
He added: "All that money you spend on props i.e. your daft-looking head, I’d spend on getting yourself a decent tour manager who spots these kind of things, otherwise you and your band will be going for an early bath.
"It’s naff c***s like you that give Leeds a bad name. As you were."
Liam Gallagher v Noel Gallagher
Undoubtedly, Liam's most famous feud is the ongoing beef with his older brother Noel Gallagher, 52.
Despite Oasis fans being desperate for the pair to makeup so the band can reunite, it looks like a reunion isn't on the cards anytime soon.
No one's entirely sure how this beef was first ignited, but in 1994 it became evident that all was not rosy between the two talented brothers.
In a now-legendary interview with NME, the brothers spent the whole time sniping at each other.
Noel called Liam a "d**k" and a "schlepper", while Liam called him a "d**k head" and a "teetotal f*****g priest".
In 1996 before the band's MTV Unplugged taping, Liam claims he has a sore throat and backs out of the show.
Noel then proceeded to spend the whole performance heckling his brother about his singing abilities.
More angry interviews and performance drama ensued, until Noel finally quit the band in 2009.
Releasing a statement at the time, Noel said "I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
But 10 years later, following multiple back and forths between the pair – with the two stars' children even getting involved in the fallout, there may be hope on the horizon.
Liam revealed he'd be inviting Noel to his wedding as it would "break his mum's heart" if he didn't – so there may still be an Oasis reunion, yet.
Don't look back in anger, boys!
