Piers Morgan offers to interview Meghan Markle after surprise Ellen chat news

Piers Morgan put his hand up to interview Meghan Markle after fans begged for him to be the next person to grill her.

The Duchess of Sussex has recently been interviewed by American chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and fans want to know who will be next.

The new interview will be broadcast on Thursday evening and will show the actress talking about her past struggles of being a young actress and opening up about her family and their life in LA.

Fans have since taken to Twitter to ponder on who could be chatting to her next, with some putting forward former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, who notoriously dislikes Meghan.

One fan wrote: "We've had the #Oprah interview, and the #EllenDeGeneres chat. Who's next for #Meghan? @piersmorgan I hope"

Piers then quote tweeted the user and added: "I’m available…."

Tonnes of people replied to his tweet, with mixed opinions, with one saying: "Wish you would..that would be worth watching"

A second added: "Me too I bet the Royal Family would too!!"

While a third penned: "Ha!! She wouldn’t dare, The Ellen interview was pr fluff to try to counter her lies in court!!"

However, a fourth typed: "And risk her ghosting you twice? You still haven't got over the first time," as they stuck up for the actress.

This comes after Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were stunned as royal commentator Andrea Levin didn't hold back on Meghan Markle's new interview.

Andrea didn't think too highly of the Duchess of Sussex's new chat with Ellen DeGeneres and slammed her for being "over the top" and "phoney" on Thursday's programme.

Talking about her latest interview, Andrew said: "She has a whole list of cameos in her head about how she can be, you have to read very carefully because it's like walking on eggshells.

"One minute she's trying to be a politician, the next she's an author, the next she is suicidal and she's unhappy and she's been badly treated.

"A lot of what she's said in the Oprah Winfrey interview has been proven to be untrue…"

She added: "What is interesting is, she has a fantastic memory to go into great detail can remember what happened maybe 18 years ago but couldn't remember talking to a senior member at Buckingham palace about helping with Finding Freedom.

"She's very selective and to me, I'm not taking to it at all. It just looks over the top and phoney."
