Playboy is set to make an epic return after the title ceased publication three years ago.

Following the death of founder and editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner in 2017, the brand has been under pressure to reinvent itself and reflect a sex-positive image.

Which is the reason why Playboy, under its chief brand officer Rachel Webber, has decided to make drastic changes by introducing an OnlyFans styled service to its platform.

Just like the popular subscription based website which has seen celebs such as Megan Barton Hanson and Bella Thorne make millions, Playboy will be placing their content behind a paywall, according to recent reports.

And instead of the original Playboy bunnies, there will be "Playboy creators", who will post adult (and non-adult) content on its pages.

A press release from Playboy Enterprises read: "Playboy is reasserting its role as the hottest platform for the world’s most creative, daring, sexy, fun and thoughtfully rebellious creators."

Although Playboy is known for their topless models, not all of the women who appear on the site will be nude as a spokesperson for the brand said "many of our creators do not have nudity on their pages".

In order to ramp up the excitement for the magazine's digital debut which will occur later on this year, model and former Playboy Playmate, Amanda Cerny will be the first to appear on the platform.

In a number of tantalising snaps to promote the brand, Amanda can seen sitting on top of a gigantic carrot while wearing a metallic bustier top with matching bottoms and the iconic Playboy bunny ears.

In another snap for their advertising campaign, the model and internet personality could be seen wearing a white tank top and tiny knickers while standing in front of gym equipment

Sharing her thoughts on the brand's update, model Amanda said: "From becoming the Playmate centerfold of October 2011, to now being in the company of Marilyn Monroe, Dolly Parton and Kate Moss on Playboy’s cover, is a dream come true.

"A Playboy creator is someone who is able to embrace their creativity, their sexuality and freely and unapologetically express themselves. I can’t wait to share more of my journey."
