Taylor Swift accuses managers banned her from playing old songs in heated rant

Taylor Swift has sent her fans into a frenzy after she took to her official Twitter account to post a hefty rant.

The 29-year-old shared three long print screens from the note section of her phone where she accused her ex-label boss Scott Borchetta and music manager Scooter Braun of preventing her from playing her old tunes.

Sharing to her staggering 85million Twitter followers, the pop star shocked fans with the accusation.

The pair purchased the master recording rights to Taylor's music (the songs before her Lover material) in June.

Taylor has now accused them of banning her from performing any of those hits of her early material.

The rant comes after it was announced that the American Music Awards will be honouring Taylor with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year's ceremony.

Kicking off the accusations, Taylor wrote: "I've been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show.

"Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have said that I'm not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I'm allowed to next year."
