X Factor’s Eoghan Quigg looks completely different now amid new career

Irish singer Eoghan Quigg wowed fans with his voice on X Factor in 2008.

But eleven years on, Eoghan is less spiky-haired teen and more tattooed beefcake.

We have investigated what happened to the sweet singer with the Sonic-inspired haircut ahead of the new Celebrity X Factor series launch.

And away from showbiz, Eoghan has revamped his image.

Now 27, the Northern Irish lad has a fully inked sleeve, muscled arms and a significantly less gelled barnet.

He has also had a complete career change and is now a footballer.

Eoghan joined Coagh United F.C. in 2015, and later Portstewart F.C. in the Northern Ireland Intermediate League.

He is also now loved-up with beautiful girlfriend Amy Campbell.

The handsome couple were seen posing together on Instagram last week as they celebrated their anniversary.

Eoghan auditioned for the X Factor in front of judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole in.

He got past the 'judges' houses' stage of the competition, and made it to the live shows in Cowell's 14–24 boys group.

Quigg eventually finished third, with Alexandra Burke named the winner, and JLS runners-up.

After his X Factor success, Quigg was due to be signed by Simon Cowell, but was instead signed to RCA after Cowell pulled out.

He released an eponymous studio album in 2009, but it had mostly negative reviews.

Quigg then competed in the Irish national selection for the chance to represent Ireland in 2014 at the Eurovision Song Contest but finished second.
