Britain’s Got Talent is nearing its end, with just one more semi-final left to air before the hit ITV show’s final line-up will be confirmed. Judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and guest judge Ashley Banjo were back in the hot seat to decide the fates of another selection of acts, with Jon Courtenay becoming the latest to make it through. However, with the panel looking glamorous as ever, it seems some fans didn’t approve of Amanda’s plunging dark blue gown, after accusing her nipples of being “out for all to see”.

The series has seen a flurry of complaints made to the broadcasting regulator in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, dance troupe Diversity’s Black Lives Matter-inspired routine led to over 24,5000 complaints.

And the week to follow led to over 1,500 complaints when judge Alesha Dixon came out in support of the move, wearing a necklace with the letters BLM on.

Now, it seems something else caused viewers to complain after the latest instalment of the popular series.

Saturday’s edition of the talent contest prompted 277 complaints in total.

But the majority of these concerned Amanda’s dress, which provoked a huge reaction from those watching the programme.

Amanda looked stunning in a low-cut dress which also included a high split on her left thigh.

However, it’s been reported by The Mirror the daring outfit choice has resulted in 235 complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Ofcom and Britain’s Got Talent for comment on the reports.

It comes after many flocked to social media to comment on the dress while the show was airing on Saturday evening.

Some viewers were convinced her nipples could be seen through the striking dress.

Taking to Twitter, one shared: “Amanda’s gonna have a wardrobe malfunction if she doesn’t sort her dress out #BGT.”

Another added: “Amanda’s nipple tape is nearly on show #BGT.”

A third commented: “Just me, or does Amanda’s dress make it look like her nipples are out? #bgt @BGT.”

“Are we not going to address the fact that Amanda’s nipples are out for all to see #BGT #amandaholden #nipplegate,” said another.

However, many fans also came out in support of the mum-of-two’s bold look, questioning why viewers felt the need to complain.

One said: “I’m sorry but not people getting pressed about Amanda Holden’s dress, like get a f*****g life you losers #bgt.”

“People need to get a life criticising a dress. It’s been a tough year with COVID19 and Amanda is a working mum, why can’t she get glammed up for a show once in a while? I don’t watch #BGT much but I listen to her and Jamie on heart every morning. It’s a great show,” echoed another.

A third agreed: “Whoever is complaining about seeing Amanda Holden’s nip on TV needs to have a serious word with themselves #BGT.”

With just one semi-final left of the show this year, who will make it all the way to the final and become the latest winner of Britain’s Got Talent?

Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
