Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi apologised on Friday's BBC Breakfast after he continually got host Charlie Stayt's name wrong.
Charlie, co-host Naga Munchetty and the minister had a good discussion about the coronavirus vaccines, however Mr Zahawi called Charlie "Dan" – presumably thinking he was talking to BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker.
After the segment, Charlie, 58, pulled up Mr Zahawi on his blunder – but insisted he wasn't "offended", though a few viewers thought he was.
Charlie said: "Mr Zahawi, thank you very much, I’m genuinely not offended but you haven’t called me Charlie throughout the whole interview, but these things happen sometimes. It’s Charlie.
"I’m just saying it out there, but I’m not offended, so it’s ok, we move on."
The Vaccine Minister responded as he laughed: "I apologise to you on air!"
Charlie went on: "It happens, it happens, we've all done it – I've done it!"
Mr Zahawai laughed: "It's been an early start, I started at 5am this morning."
Charlie assured him: "It's absolutely fine, it happens. We all do it."

However not everyone was convinced by Charlie's repetition of it being "fine".
One person tweeted: "When Charlie and Naga say they're not offended, it actually means they are offended."
While another said: "Pathetic interview by Charlie and it doesn't matter what your name is."
After the interview, Naga kept going with the conversation – and even went on to make a cheeky dig at Charlie.

"Dan and Lou [Louise Minchin] at the start of the week, we're here at this end of the week."
Naga teased Charlie saying: "Often they go through all these different broadcasters and they are trying to remember who is who.
"And you know, sometimes you are forgettable. [Weather presenter] Matt [Taylor] is never forgettable."
Matt then added: "I've never been called Mike, no."
While Naga quickly said: "No, Charlie is never forgettable, of course."
