Britain’s Got Talent viewers claim magician predicted WRONG lottery numbers during live show in awkward gaffe
Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left in a frenzy on Wednesday night after claiming that a magician failed to guess the correct lottery numbers.
John Archer wowed fans of the hit ITV talent show during the semi final — making it to the top three.
But they soon took to social media to mock the comedy magician when they recognised the apparent awkward gaffe.
Show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 43, joined John on stage to help him make his prediction.
The Geordie duo were asked to randomly select numbers from old tickets, before producing another lottery ticket he had already purchased.

At a first glance it seemed that the two sets of numbers mirrored each other, but eagled-eyed fans soon realised that the Lottery ticket appeared to show the number six, not the number 16 as Dec had picked.
One viewer took to Twitter to write: “While I enjoyed John Archer on #BGT, I noticed something wrong with his lottery ticket.
“The euromillions draw doesn’t take place on Sundays, it should read 01 06 not 01 6, and the raffle stopped in November 2018.”
A second quipped to their followers: “Bit awks when John archer gets the numbers wrong [sic] ”
A third fumed: “Er but he got the numbers wrong it was a 6 on his ticket not 16…more b******s [sic] ”
Despite there not being an explanation for the mishap, others suggested the studio light may have distorted the ticket.

As one viewer mentioned, single numbers on lottery tickets appear with a 0 in front of them, where the number six appeared to not.
The number one on the 16 may have been hidden by light, leading it to appear that John had guessed wrong.
