Coleen Nolan reveals she was secretly rushed to hospital before Celebrity Big Brother final after suffering horrifying chest pains as she returns to Loose Women

COLEEN Nolan has revealed she was secretly rushed to hospital with horrifying chest pains the day before the Celebrity Big Brother final.

The former popstar was crowned the winner after beating off the likes of Jedward and Kim Woodburn in the final week but now she's told how she had to leave the house after waking up with stabbing pains.

Channel 5 bosses were so worried about her they told her not to return, but she decided to bravely battle on.

Speaking on Loose Women she put the ordeal down to boozing for 32 days straight. She said: "I woke up with terrible, terrible chest pains. They were really bad, I was shaking. So they called me into the diary room and got a paramedic to check me out.

"Everything was excess in there and also the stress of the house. I thought it was heartburn or whatever."

Big Brother called her to the diary room and sent her to hospital but Coleen didn't believe them and thought they were evicting her.

She added: "I was taken to hospital with a blanket over my head because no-one's allowed to see me. The doctor came in to talk to a blanket."

"Basically it just came back it was over-excess and stress-related.

"I'm not going to blame my chest pains on Kim, but there wasn't that single moment in the house where she was entertaining."

Coleen was joined on the panel by Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, fellow Celebrity Big Brother star Nadia Sawalha as well as returning former panelist Jane McDonald who appeared as a guest.

She said: "This time I came out going you will never be able to afford me again. It was longer, it was 32 days, it was just brutal. It was relentlessly brutal. Every trial was a brutal trial.

"I have to say though, in their defence, they are absolutely brilliant at what they do. They run a fantastic show. It was just that this one was relentlessly brutal."

"Believe it or not we did have a lot of laughter together especially in the evenings. I went in a complete non-drinker but I need to hold my hand up – I've been drunk for 32 days."

She joked that she drank eight cans of rum and coke each night.

Coleen also opened up about her marriage to husband Ray.

She said: "If Big Brother was good in any way, it was good for that.

"When I was in there there were so many times that I thought 'God, I really miss him'. That was one of the feelings I thought I lost.

"We haven't had a chance to speak since leaving because he's touring America. We've text, but we haven't actually picked up the phone to speak to each other because it is the elephant in the room and I don't want to have that conversation on the phone.

"What it made me feel that those feelings were forgotten. There is hope that they are still there."

"I'll fight for it until there's no fight left in me," she added.

Coleen then became emotional on the show when her son Shane Nolan turned up to surprise her.

She said: "Gobsmacked, I don't mean that in a bad way."

Coleen was left shocked by her surprise Celebrity Big Brother win, even going as far to say that she didn't deserve it.

Fans very also stunned when Loose Women star Coleen was announced the winner of the Channel 5 reality show on Friday night – after it was assumed Irish twins Jedward had it in the bag

But it appears despite the outrage, people who called up to place their votes were firmly on Team Coleen – and she walked away with over a third in total.

Jedward were the only other housemates that came near her – pulling in just under 30 per cent of the vote and leaving the other four finalists to scrape the final third between them.

At the time of his eviction, Calum Best had only managed to bag himself a little over one per cent of the vote count before he got an early boot on Tuesday night’s show.

The revelation comes after viewers cried ‘fix’, branding bubbly Coleen too ‘boring’ to come out as champion.

Coleen  burst into tears when Emma Willis announced her name over the Irish twins.

During a chat with host Emma, she said: "Don’t make me cry I’ve done so much crying on this show. I’m traumatised.

"I’ve never won anything in my life on my own ever.

"If I put my hand on my heart I didn’t deserve to win it as I have been boring."

The voting figures breakdown

Coleen Nolan: 32.65%

Jedward: 29.91%

Kim Woodburn: 14.52%

James Cosmo: 10.33%

Nicola McLean: 6.94%

Bianca Gascoigne: 4.36%

Calum Best: 1.3%

She later admitted she was convinced that Jedward would be the winners right up until her name was announced.

Many fans were also shocked by the outcome as Jedward had been bookies’ favourites as well.

They flocked to Twitter to express their disappointment, insisting Coleen was not interesting enough to deserve the title.

One wrote: "Can't believe I've sat and watched #cbb for three weeks for COLEEN NOLAN to win… biggest fix."

Another added: "@bbuk fix so disappointing what did Coleen Nolan bring to the house nothing!!!!"

A third tweeted: "Another celebrity big brother another fix boring Coleen Nolan did not get the most votes…"

Even the house’s divisive housemate Kim Woodburn admitted her disappointment that Jedward lost out – and referred to Coleen as ‘Fag Ash Lil’ in a conversation following her eviction.

Kim stated: "I will say this now – How that woman won Celebrity Big Brother when Jedward were sitting there, I have no idea!

"Public, I don't know how you let that boring, Fag Ash Lil' – with that I know now to be a rotten mouth about her about me – win. She shouldn't have won. It should have been Jedward.”

She later added she would’ve preferred her house nemesis Nicola McLean to have taken the crown instead.
