Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn shuts down troll after 'wonky boob' comment

Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn expertly shut down a troll after they made a ‘back handed compliment’ about her appearance.

The actress — who viewers know for portraying Sinead Tinker on the long-running ITV serial drama — tweeted a photo of herself ahead of the virtual TV BAFTA awards last Friday.

A user commented underneath the picture: ‘You look stunning but one breast is slightly higher than the other’

Me and my wonky bosoms having a whale of a time celebrating this year’s virtual television @bafta’s 🙋🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Last Friday I posted a photo on twitter after getting all glam for this year’s awards (so gutted we couldn’t do the proper ceremony as I’ve never been. But, covid…) and someone chose to give me the back handed compliment of “you look stunning BUT one breast is slightly higher than the other” and since then it’s had a lot of attention in the press…⁣ ⁣ So I just wanted to show off the wonky gals again to let you all know that having uneven breasts is perfectly normal, in fact, it’s actually much more common for women to have asymmetrical breasts… AND this may be a bit of a TMI moment but I was also on my period at the time of these photos, which every woman (and probably a lot of men) will know, plays havoc with their size 😆⁣ ⁣ The moral of the story is, stop justifying negative comments and messages by starting them with, you look stunning BUT… You’re amazing BUT… ⁣ ⁣ Big tits, small tits, wonky tits, saggy tits or no tits… let’s all try and be a bit more positive and kind shall we ✊🏻⁣ ⁣ #titgate #bafta #bepositive #bekind #spreadthelove #stoptrolling #womenempowerment

However, Katie was having none of it, and expertly handled the situation, as she posted a message to address the situation — accompanied by a series of selfies.

She informed her users that she had ‘a whale of a time’ at the virtual BAFTAs, before shutting down the troll who made the previous comment.
