Abi Franklin (played by Sally Carman) fled the street following the sentencing of the trial for her son Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder. Fiancé Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) has been desperately been trying to track her down, eventually approaching Seb’s dad Tez Collier (Nick Judge). However, Abi is set to make her return, but when questioned about her whereabouts, will she tell her fiancé the truth?
In upcoming scenes, Kevin is woken up in the middle of the night to find Abi standing in their living room.
Obviously stunned by her appearance, Abi apologises over and over for worrying Kevin and promises the £2,000 she stole was for food and accommodation, not drugs.
Abi is blown away by Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) and Kevin’s welcome home efforts, but Jack is upset, and Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is furious when she tells them she can’t promise she is staying.
Kevin is confused and puzzled by what she had revealed and is unaware of what she had planned or where she may run off to again.
Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) calls to see Abi at No.13 and questions her reluctance to reschedule her wedding.
When Abi mentions the hassle and stress of organising it as a reason, Kevin takes away some of her stress and reveals Debbie has offered to sort everything, forcing Abi to agree.
Kevin is thrilled when Abi agrees to go ahead with the wedding, but Nina is suspicious of Abi and her true intentions.
Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) plucks up the courage to ask Nina out after crushing on her for a few weeks, but distracted Nina is too upset after a run-in with a hostile Abi and turns her down.
The news of Corey Brent’s (Maximus Evans) transfer to a German club spreads, Nina is furious, and when Roy Cropper (David Neilson) finds a notebook with details of Corey’s training regime, she says she’ll find the owner.
Is Abi being entirely honest about the money she stole from Kevin?
Or has she been lying about where she was and what she was doing?
When Kevin desperately tries to track down Abi, he visits a pub he knows she used to frequent when she was a drug addict.

After bumping into Abi’s ex and Seb’s dad Tez, he tells Kevin that he hasn’t seen or heard from Abi, but Kevin was cautious to believe he was telling the truth.
He soon gets a picture of him dealing drugs and uses it to threaten Tez and he soon admits to seeing Abi a few weeks ago, however, no conversation was exchanged between the two.
These scenes lead up to the Super Soap Week, which will see a number of deadly disasters hit Weatherfield.
It has already been revealed that Abi is out for revenge on Corey for killing her son, and by any means necessary, she will do what it takes.
Despite Nina’s best effort to talk her out of anything dangerous, Abi is a woman on a mission, and the notebook may be just what she needs.
The Alahans are also set to face a deadly week when they get lost up a country road during a thunderstorm when they set off on a road trip.
