Coronation Street viewers have been suspicious of Imran Habeeb (played by Charlie De Melo) ever since he didn’t return home following Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder trial. Viewers have been speculating as to who the lawyer spent the night with, and many suspected he was either having an affair with Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) or his ex-wife Sabeen Habeeb (Zora Bishop). However, in scenes that aired on Monday night, Sabeeb made it clear it wasn’t her he spent the night with, although she does know who the mystery woman is.

Monday night’s instalment saw Sabeen blackmailing her ex.

The lawyer, who is planning an appeal case for drug dealer Harvey (Will Mellor), told Imran if he didn’t help her source information, she would tell Toyah (Georgia Taylor) about his affair.

The blackmail plot comes after an excited Toyah explained to Imran, they were about to foster a four-year-old child called Elsie.

“I need something,” Sabeen said as she stormed into Imran’s office.

“No, I am done,” the lawyer insisted before Sabeen continued: “Really?

“Because the money I paid for your services suggests otherwise.”

“I don’t want the money,” Imran replied. “I don’t want anything to do with this.”

Attempting to blackmail her ex, Sabeen said: “And then there is the infidelity situation. Oh, poor Toyah.”

“I have a four-year-old foster child coming tomorrow,” Imran pleaded.
