Corrie fans ‘work out’ Abi Franklin letter twist after Kevin Webster discovers card

Coronation Street fans think they have worked out a new twist on the ITV soap after Kevin Webster found a mysterious letter in Seb Franklin's belongings.

During the latest episode, Kevin received a few of Seb's things, who was tragically murdered earlier this year, and was soon left gobsmacked over a discovery.

After spotting a letter in the box, Kevin was soon left stunned over what it said and he quickly showed best friend Tyrone Dobbs, asking him to keep it a secret from Abi Franklin, who is still mourning her son Seb's death.

Later in the episode, Abi, who is facing her first Christmas without Seb, forced herself to get into the festive spirit as she decorated her home with Kevin and his son Jack.

And when Kevin decided to treat his family to a meal at the Bistro, he soon received a mysterious phone call as he stepped away to take it.

During the phone call, he said: "Thanks for calling back, tomorrow? If you're sure… yeah, we will see you tomorrow then. Thanks again, I really appreciate it."

Soap watchers were desperate to know what was in the letter with some fans predicting that it could be from Abi's twins, who live in Australia.

While other viewers questioned whether Seb could have arranged something for Abi before his tragic death.

One person said: "Wonder if Abi's twins are coming back for Christmas? #Corrie."

A different account put: "Could Seb's letter be from Australia. Abis other kids ?#Corrie."

While another follower commented: "So either Seb’s left a note for Abi that had bad news on it or something like he’s a dad or he’s arranged a Christmas present for her. #Corrie #CoronationStreet @itvcorrie."

Elsewhere during the episode, Emma was left devastated as Curtis Delamere left the cobbles "forever".

Only recently on the ITV soap, Curtis was wrongly arrested at his wedding to Emma after Steve McDonald thought he had stolen his £100k for Oliver’s charity fund, which later turned out to be a "technical fault".

And on Wednesday's episode, Emma, who still thought Curtis was guilty, asked him to leave before realising that he was telling the truth and that he hadn't stolen the money.
