BBC soap fans have been keeping a close eye on newcomer Aaron Monroe (played by Charlie Wernham) ever since he arrived in EastEnders last week. Viewers quickly became suspicious of Aaron and have begun to grow concerned for Tiffany Butcher’s (Maisie Smith) safety after she agreed to date him. On Tuesday night’s episode, the new Walford resident was seen washing blood off his hands, leading viewers to believe he’s a violent criminal. Will Aaron end up killing Tiffany?
On Tuesday night’s instalment of EastEnders, Aaron continued to pursue Tiffany for another chance after he abruptly left midway through their date the previous night.
Tiffany cautiously agreed to attempt another date with Aaron, but things once again went awry.
The bad boy again left during their dinner after his phone went off, explaining he had to leave because of work.
Later on, Aaron returned home and sent a mysterious text to an unknown number, saying: “It’s done.”
While washing blood off his hands, he told his father Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) he’d be seeing Tiffany again soon.
After seeing the shocking scene, viewers quickly took to Twitter to speculate about Aaron’s motives.
Several fans shared their concerns for Tiffany’s safety, worrying Aaron may turn on her.
@itzzzo_ wrote: “Seems like there is something really dodgy about Aaron ain’t there? Tiffany best stay away. #EastEnders.”
“Did Aaron just abandon his date with Tiffany? He’s definitely giving off real bad vibes. #EastEnders,” @BovaryCee commented.
“Don’t trust Aaron Tiffany. #EastEnders,” @RyanGTweetsTV posted.
“Omg Aaron, what has he done? Nasty expression on his face too! #EastEnders,” @SARamsay1 commented.
“OMG could Tiff actually be in serious danger potentially from Aaron? Hope not after everything else she’s been through… The rape, Evie, obsession with her looks etc #EastEnders,” @GrianneDoherty1 said.
“#EastEnders I wonder if Tiffany is gonna get killed off,” @ChantalMascoe added.
As Tiffany’s now been let down by Aaron on more than one occasion, she could cut ties with him.
If Aaron asks her on a date again she could refuse, but how would he react?
The newcomer could end up lashing out and turning violent on Tiffany if she breaks things off.
If Aaron really is a violent criminal, Tiffany’s life could be on the line. Will Aaron end up killing Tiffany if she refuses to date him again?
EastEnders fans already know that Tiffany will soon exit Albert Square as the actress who plays her is leaving the soap.
Maisie Smith, who plays Tiffany, recently confirmed the news in a post on social media.
The soap star wrote: “It’s time to say farewell to Tiff! I’ve grown up on EastEnders since 2008, and have learnt from the best over the past 13 years.
“I’m very excited for my next challenge and thank the BBC for the opportunity they gave me as a six-year-old.”
Could Tiffany’s time in Walford come to an end with a shocking murder? Viewers will have to tune in to find out her fate.
EastEnders continues on Thursday at 7.30 pm on BBC One.
