Emmerdale fans are convinced that Cathy Hope is April Windsor's cruel online bully after they spotted her acting "guilty" on Thursday's episode.
During the latest instalment, soap watchers claimed that Cathy was "too helpful" and "full of ideas" as she grilled April about whether she received any new messages.
Only recently, April has been cruelly bullied with the online troll sending a sick meme of her late mother Donna and in upcoming scenes next week they even send a birthday card to her home address.
On Wednesday, Cathy kept asking April if she had received any messages from the bully as she asked her to check her phone and apps to see if there was anything new.
April insisted that she was going to "ignore" it but Cathy was quick to suggest that she shouldn't and instead show the bully that she would be "intimidated".
Cathy then speculated that it could be a girl they both know as she encouraged April to send her a messaging telling her to "step off or else", adding that they could do it together.
After sending the message, they received a reply from the girl asking to meet up as Cathy once again encouraged April to go so she could "put her in her place", she said: "Then word will spread you're not so lame!"
Things went from bad to worse when they went to meet the "bullies" and after getting cold feet, Cathy insisted that April stay.
After a verbal confrontation, the two girls insisted to April that they didn't set up any accounts and as they stormed off, she said to Cathy: "Now look at what you've done!"
April then warned: "I'm going to find out who started trolling me and get them to shut the accounts down" to which Cathy asked: "Do you even know how to do that?"
To which the youngster declared: "No but I'm going to work it out, I am sick of this!"
Soap watchers, who had previously predicted it could be Cathy, were left convinced after the scenes as they took to Twitter to share their theory.
One person said: "I don't trust that Cathy, she's too helpful and full of ideas. If she wants to help, tell Marlon or report it to the School Principal. #emmerdale."
A different account put: "I dont trust Cathy #Emmerdale."
