James Jordan came under fire by Good Morning Britain fans on Tuesday, after he labelled unvaccinated Strictly Come Dancing contestants as "selfish".

Appearing via video link, former Strictly star James and professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff debated whether it was right for someone who hasn't had their two jabs to take part in this year's competition.

But things became rather heated quite quickly between the pair when James admitted that he was unaware of anyone who wasn't able to receive the vaccine.

And at one point Presenter Richard Madeley had to step in a remind everyone, that they were all talking over each other.

Watching the drama unfold, viewers were left unimpressed with James' stance and complained that he didn't do any research before he appeared on the show.

Taking to Twitter, fans aired their thoughts.

One fan penned: "James maybe do more research and you’d find that there are lots of people who cannot have the vaccine."

Another chimed in and said: "James is double jabbed so what's his problem the only person at risk of server illness is the is the one not vaccinated wait till your double vaccinated dancers catch Covid who you going to blame then."

A third commented: "James Jordon seems like a real w****r, not even just about vaccines but just generally. One of those because he doesn't know someone who can't have the vaccine it can't be true. What an ignorant t****r. Who is he anyway."

While a fourth said: "James has always been biased against Strictly ever since he was sacked so what good is it having him on ffs."

According to The Sun, two Strictly Come Dancing professionals have refused to be vaccinated which has caused some complications on set.

However it is not known who has decided to not take the jab.

Speaking further on the situation a spokesperson for the BBC series said: "We do not comment on speculation of somebody’s Covid vaccination status.

"Strictly Come Dancing production has, and will, continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the show."

GMB continues weekdays at 6am on ITV.
