Great British Bake Off 2021 start date, contestants and all you need to know
The Great British Bake Off will soon return to our screens for a 12th season.
As usual, 12 bakers will head to the famous tent and whip up some delicious treats in order to impress the judges.
The line-up for the 2021 series has been officially announced, and Channel 4 have also confirmed a start date.
The good news is that you won't have long to wait until we can watch the bakers get stuck into tricky technical challenges and incredible signature bakes.

When does the Great British Bake Off 2021 start?
The Great British Bake Off will return to our screens on Tuesday, September 21.
The show will air weekly on Channel 4 at 8pm, finishing at 9.30pm.

The Great British Bake Off contestants have been officially announced.

Crystelle, 26, a client relationship manager from London
George, 34, a Shared Lives coordinator, from London
Freya, 19, a student from North Yorkshire
Rochica, 27, an HR business partner from Birmingham
Jürgen, 56, an IT Professional from Sussex
Jairzeno, 51, a head of finance from London
Tom, 28, a software developer from Kent
Giuseppe, 45, a chief engineer from Bristol

Who are the presenters and judges?
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will be returning to share their brutally honest reviews of the bakes.
It remains to be seen whether Mr Hollywood will be handing out any of his famous handshakes.
Meanwhile, Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas will be returning to host the action in the tent.
Look forward to more hilarious time calls and introductions.
Who won the last series of Bake Off?
Peter Sawkins won the Great British Bake Off in 220, at the young age of 20.
The accounting and finance student became the youngest ever winner of the show.
He was the series' first Star Baker, and continued to impress the judges throughout.
Peter even managed to get a Hollywood handshake for his signature bake when he made an elderflower savarin.
