It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14 is 'getting weird' behind the scenes
Filming on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14 is well underway, and thanks to the wonders of Instagram we’re getting a look at what goes on behind the scenes.
And, as writer and actor Rob McElhenney has pointed out on his stories, things are getting a little weird.
Rob, who plays Mac, posted a snap of himself and co-star Glenn Howerton, who plays Dennis, lying on an unmade mattress on the floor.
They’re both fully clothed – including shoes – and the eagle eyed will have spotted the Bible and a little statue of Jesus on the bed too.
Is It’s Always Sunny about to get religious?
Who knows, we’re just glad the 14th season is finally underway.
Glenn announced the beginning of filming earlier this month when he posted a picture of the set on his Instagram, writing: ‘Home sweet home. Day 1 starts tomorrow. With yours truly directing. Can’t wait. #sunny14’.
As well as writing, starring and producing, Glenn is set to direct his first ever episode of It’s Always Sunny in the new season, and celebrated his day behind the camera with a photo of the clapboard with his name on it.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 43-year-old said he wanted to put his ‘heart and soul’ into making the episode.
‘I love that show so much. I mean, that’s my baby. That’s my co-creation, and I will always be involved in that show, I think in some form or other.
‘How much I can be involved will be somewhat dictated by what else I’m doing, but it’s always going to be something that I care deeply about, and I’m going to put my heart and soul into when I can,’ he said.
We can’t wait for It’s Always Sunny to make it back on to our screens again, but for now keep the BTS pics coming, gang.
