Joe Swash fans convinced he has signed up for Dancing On Ice as line up is teased

Joe Swash fans are convinced he has signed up for next year's Dancing On Ice as the show begin to tease the 2020 line up.

The hit ITV show is expected to return to screens in January, with celebrities beginning to gear up to take to the rink.

Dancing On Ice's official Instagram account has now started to tease this year's line up, with fans eager to guess who could be trying to impress the judges this winter.

Posting to their 244,000 followers, the show posted an image of part of an afro, alongside the caption: "Big hair, don't care?", with many guessing the identity of the mystery celebrity is Diversity dancer Perri Kiely.

But a second image from the account sent fans wild, with viewers convinced it depicts Stacey Solomon's boyfriend Joe.

The image shows a star similar to those won on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! peeping out of the pocket of a jacket.

Red chest hair is also seen in the image, as well as a freckled hand, lead many to comment Joe's name under the post.

One even suggested his inclusion on the line up could be the reason behind him stepping down from his role on I'm A Celebrity's spin off show Extra Camp this year.

Hinting that she could be partnered with the former EastEnders actor, Vanessa Bauer commented: "Lollll nooo idea," alongside a laughing emoji.

A Dancing On Ice representative previously told OK! online: "It is too early to confirm any of the participants for the 2020 series of Dancing On Ice."

If Joe is included on this year's line up, it could put even more of a strain on his relationship with Stacey, who recently joked Loose Women were trying to split them up.

She filmed Joe as he prepared to fly to the Maldives for a work trip and shared the clip to her two million Instagram followers.

When asked by The X Factor finalist Stacey where he was going, her partner said: "The Maldives. It's for work I swear!"

Stacey replied: "I am sad you are going but what I am more sad about is the way you pack your suitcase."

She wrote over the video: "He's only going away again!!! What's going on @itv @loosewomen are you trying to split us up?

"Where are you @andipeters I thought you lived on a tropical island especially for competitions? [sic]"

Love Island contestant Maura Higgins is also rumoured to be taking to the rink next year, after reportedly "replacing" former co-star Amber Gill on the line up.

A source told The Sun Online: "Dancing On Ice producers were always going to sign a Love Island star for next year’s series and they wanted a girl this time after having two guys in the past.

"It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality.

"Maura is hoping Curtis can now teach her more moves, even though she will be on the ice."

A separate insider told the publication last month: "The Dancing On Ice casting team are delighted with the decision to snap up Amber.

"Love Island contestants always do really well on the series as they are still fresh in everyone’s minds.

"Amber is a stunning girl and they know she’ll look fabulous in all the sequinned costumes. She has a gutsy personality, too, so will make excellent viewing."

It is unclear if Maura will be the only Dancing On Ice star competing on the Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby hosted show, with Tommy Fury also said to be in talks to take part.

An insider told Daily Star: "ITV love Tommy and know he would provide great comedy as well as pull in the female viewers in skin-tight outfits on the ice."

However, they added that a final decision was yet to be made, continuing: "We are seeing lots of celebrities ahead of the final line-up being confirmed."
