Kate and Rio Ferdinand shut down an entire Nando’s for Christmas party with friends and family – The Sun
RIO and Kate Ferdinand went all out for their loved ones as they shut down Nando's for a festive meal out.
The couple, who will be celebrating their first Christmas as newlyweds this year, treated their friends and family to a slap up feast at the chicken restaurant chain on Tuesday evening.
Documenting the event on Instagram Stories, Kate, 28, gave fans a glimpse into the night, which was complete with personalised menus and party hats.
Guests were treated to a whole host of yummy dishes, including the restaurants famous Peri-Peri chicken, halloumi sticks and salted caramel brownies for dessert.
While on her feed, Kate posted a loved-up snap alongside Rio, 41, at the Camberwell branch in London.
The former Towie star captioned the shot: "Nando’s shutdown … when you get to takeover Nando’s for a #festivefeast with your friends & family! This is what dreams are made of."
The festive night out comes a week after the pair threw a lavish dinner party at their home.
Kate told fans that she'd had "the best evening" as she showed off her "dinner table of dreams".
There were silver table settings engraved with guests' names, green garlands, gold baubles. pink flowers and even menus engraved onto silver mirrors.
The Essex beauty got hitched to Rio in September in front of 180 close friends and family in Marmaris, Turkey.
Since then she's celebrated the release of her new book Fitter, Happier, Healthier and shared a snap of Rio reading it by the Christmas tree last week.
Former England footballer Rio was previously married to the mother of his three children Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2015.
He announced his engagement to Kate in 2018 by sharing snaps online of the moment he popped the question on top of a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi.
Rio asked Kate to be his wife alongside his three children, Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine and Tia, seven.
