Katie Price reveals her kids help her wax her legs as she's determined to stay glam after breaking both her feet
KATIE Price reveals her kids help her wax her legs as she's determined to stay glam after breaking both her feet.
The former glamour model, 42, hasn't let her injury stop her from looking as good as possible, and that includes her waxing routine.
In fact, Katie admitted on her Instagram Story she lets her kids help her with it.
Speaking on her Stories about Jenny Wax, she said: "I bet you're wondering what's in this pot and what I'm stirring. That is actually hot wax.
"Years ago when I got waxed I said I'd never use it again because it hurt. But now this is the traditional way of using it, a lot of big beauty institutes use it now.
"You basically put it on and pull it off. Normally I'd use a razor but now I've got so into this, I love it – even the kids help me do this, because they love playing with it."
The mum-of-five broke her feet while jumping off a wall in a theme park in Turkey.
Not settling for just waxing, Katie even customised her plasters with glitter – one blue and one pink.
She filmed a video on Monday saying: "Look at that glitter on that foot! The foot that no one believes is broken!" she said as she filmed the video.
"Can you believe no one believes I’ve broken my feet and ankles?!" she asked the nurse.
"Now you can put this up saying, 'now do you believe me?'" the nurse replied, to which Katie answered: "Yeah exactly. Love that!"
She's also updated fans with shots of her sunbathing and even using sunbeds, despite her two huge casts.
It comes after it was revealed that the mum-of-five will need to have urgent surgery this week after doctors called the damage "severe".
She's been left wearing two special boots and needing to use a wheelchair to get around.
A source told The Sun Online: "Katie's surgery has been rushed forward to this week because doctors say her injuries are really bad – as severe as they could be.
"She's going in this week and the surgery will be a huge job. She won't be able to walk for at least six months.
"Katie's devastated, obviously, but also hopeful that the sooner the surgery happens, the quicker she can start on the road to recovery."
A representative for the star told us: “I can confirm preparation is underway to ensure the next few weeks are cleared for Katie's recovery post surgery."
