Love Island fans overjoyed as ‘missing’ islander Yewande Biala finally appears on the show: ‘FINALLY Yewande gets screen time!’
Love Island fans were left baffled after Yewande Biala appeared to go "missing" over the course of the series.
The 23 year old scientist has barely been seen during season five of the show, whereas the likes of Curtis Pritchard, Tommy Fury and Lucie Donlan have all been featured none-stop.
But on Thursday night’s episode, fans rejoiced as Yewande shared a brief scene with Anton Danyluk as the pair discussed not yet finding love in the villa.
“I’m really enjoyed Anton in the villa,” she said, as he reassured her she was a catch – and fans were over the moon to see her return.
“YES ANTON. Thank you for bringing us some Yewande screentime and giving her the pep talk she needs,” one wrote, while a second added: “FINALLY YEWANDE GETS SCREEN TIME #loveisland.”
A third added: “Yewande got some screen time what are the odds #LoveIsland!”

Surviving just two series, the show was axed in 2006 and returned almost a decade later in 2015, with Caroline at the helm.
Radio host Kelly was replaced as host by Ferne Cotton for the second series, but has now weighed in on Caroline’s involvement with the show.
Speaking on her Heart radio show, she slammed Caroline, even going as far as to calling her “weird” for hosting the hit ITV2 show and reportedly dating Kelly’s ex, Danny Ciprinai.
She told listeners of her drive time show: “I can’t believe she’s doing Love Island and dating Danny Cipriani.
“I was like, ‘Is she just following my life or something?’ Hang on, I was the first host of Love Island, then I dated Danny. It’s like, what’s next?”
