Love Island fans unearth Tommy Fury's old Facebook photos and it's adorable
Love Island fans have unearthed Tommy Fury’s old Facebook profile, and it’s a sight to behold.
The boxer, who’s currently torn between social influencer Molly-Mae Hague and grid girl Maura Higgins, was on the receiving end of some major internet stalking recently as fans found his old profile on the social media site.
The profile, listed under the name ‘Thomas Fury’, shows the 20-year-old in his awkward teenage phase – the kind of thing we all try to forget.
Although he stopped using it back in 2015, Tommy previously shared snaps in his school uniform, his BBM contact number (what a throwback), and surprisingly heartfelt messages to a girl named Megan.
Looks like Molly-Mae and Maura have some competition.
As you would expect, viewers found the whole thing hilarious.
‘Damn I think Megan is the only girl he wouldn’t turn his head for,’ one joked.
‘Man said ‘granade’,’ a despairing fan pointed out.
One was quick to stick up for the boxer, saying: ‘Tommy’s old Facebook is getting shared everywhere and it actually unreal how much he got picked on when he was in school.
‘Also, the irony of the world champ comment at 20. May not be world champ, but he’s probs doing a lot better than most of them
Tommy has been at the centre of a whole host of drama in the villa, recently clashing with Molly-Mae, who he’s currently coupled up with, over new arrival Maura.
The pair eventually came to verbal blows in the bedroom, where Molly-Mae unleashed her feelings about Tommy’s intentions to get to know Maura. ‘You’ve categorically been an arse. You’ve not even asked if I’m okay,’ Molly-Mae said.
An outraged Tommy, replied: ‘I’ve put my f**king neck on the line for you these past few days. Ever since you walked in here I’ve made you feel nothing but welcome and I expect trust f**king back. So what’s going on?’
He added: ‘I’ve said to her, you’re the one I want to pursue things with. She’s come in and I’ve had a connection with her, I like the girl and I’m going to get to know her.
‘What can I do about that?’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
