Love Islanders turn on Danny Williams as Yewande Biala is left in tears

Protect Yewande Biala at all costs.

In a first look teaser trailer for the upcoming episode of Love Island, things take a tearful turn for Yewande after Danny Williams goes on a date with new girl Arabella Chi and ‘lies’ to everyone about flirting with her, prompting the 23-yeaer-old to question her future in the villa.

The islanders turn on Williams after Yewande is left in tears when she finds out that he is in fact interested in Arabella, after he explicitly told her – and the other people in the villa– that he is only interested in her.

In a tense exchange between the pair, Yewande didn’t mince her words: ‘You told me that you wanted to progress things with me but you also failed to mention that you also want to get to know her [Arabella] even though you already told me a couple of days ago that you’re not interested in getting to know anyone else,’ she tells him tersely.

Danny tries to interrupt Yewande but she isn’t having it. ‘Mm,’ she said, silencing him. ‘Am I right or am I wrong?’

Later, she tearfully tells the camera: ‘I don’t understand why someone can’t just want me.’

ITV, do your thing please.

The Love Islanders side with Yewande, with Michael telling the group: ‘What’s wild is that he’s lied to everyone’ and Tommy adding that Danny told him that there wasn’t any flirting during his date, which Arabella disputed.

The model told the people in the villa that there was ‘definitely flirting’ between her and Danny.

‘He obviously said there was no flirting. There was definitely flirting.’

Tommy goes straight to the source and tells Danny: ‘It looks like Yewande has opened up to everybody and you basically told lies. That’s how it looks,’ whilst Michael is blunter with his words: ‘Proper d******dy. Like proper.’

Asked about how she feels by the girls, Arabella later tells them: ‘It makes me feel upset. The fact that I’ve made someone else feel like s***.’

‘You’ve done her a favour,’ Anna Vakili tells her. ‘If you didn’t come in she would have wasted more time and energy and everything on him.’

‘I had to tell her. He was telling us two different things.’

In a clip later that morning, Yewande, still crying, reveals that she isn’t sure if she wants to stay in the villa. ‘I don’t really want to be here anymore.’

‘I just feel like I’m not going to find love here. I think I just need time to really think about what’s going on and then I can kind of decide on what I want to do.’

No, don’t go!

Love Island continues weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
