Mark Wright plays down rumours of Towie return for 10-year special

Mark Wright has dismissed rumours he will return to Towie for a reunion special.

Billie Faiers’ husband Greg Shepherd started the rumours off by telling OK! Magazine that Mark was back on board for the special.

He added: ‘I can’t envisage him going from interviewing Elton John to filming TOWIE, but who knows.’

But Mark, who hosted Extra in the US, says this is the first he’s heard of a reunion special.

Ahead of his new gig hosting This Morning, Mark said: ‘I only read that in the press, I haven’t been told that at all by the producers or anybody.

‘The 10 year special wouldn’t be until October 2020 so it’s so far away, I don’t think they’re planning that far ahead.’

Billie meanwhile said that she didn’t ‘know much about it’.

Mark appeared in the first three series of The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2012. During his time on the reality TV show he was involved with Lauren Goodger, then later Lucy Mecklenburgh.

Billie has gone on to carve out a career away from Towie with her own show with sister Sam Faiers.

Gemma Collins is arguably the biggest star to emerge from the show, and she will soon be starring in her own series Diva, which will air this summer

The reality TV star has been working on losing weight and attributed her weight loss to working out and going vegan.

However it has since been claimed that Gemma has been taking weight loss injections to ‘remove hunger’.

After being flooded with compliments about her new body, the reality star told fans: ‘Thanks for all your weight loss comments my hard work is defo paying off,’ before adding the hashtags #VeganLifestyle and #EatLifeNotDeath.’

As first revealed by The Sun, Gemma has been taking injections from the company SkinnyJab, who claim their product ‘removes hunger from the equation’.
