Megan Barton-Hanson to ‘explore’ bisexuality in Celebs Go Dating first

Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williams has revealed that Megan Barton-Hanson will date women on the show, in a series first.

It comes after the Love Island star recently came out as bisexual and admitted that she prefers having sex with women.

Megan, 25, said that she has a 'deeper connection' with females and the Mirror can reveal this will be explored on the E4 dating show.

Relationship expert Anna, who will be helping Megan find love, said: "If someone asks who are we to deny them.

"Megan has come in very willing to explore all options of her sexuality and we will do our very best to facilitate that."

It's a first for Celebs Go Dating with only a handful of gay male celebrities appearing on the show in the past, with TOWIE's Bobby Norris being the first in 2018.

Former glamour model Megan has already started filming her scenes at the agency and was spotted heading into the London headquarters this week for her first meeting with Anna and Paul Carrick Brunson.

Speaking of her new client, Anna said: "Megan is quite guarded and she doesn't let that guard down easily.

"Equally, she has been open to the agency and what we're trying to do for her and she's been brutally honest and brave and open with her feelings and about how her recent relationship has left her feeling."

Megan split with her last boyfriend Wes Nelson back in January, while he was starring in Dancing on Ice with gorgeous partner Vanessa Bauer.

There had been rumours Megan and Wes could be set for an awkward reunion with the hunk also signing up the dating agency.

However, Anna revealed a potential place for Wes on the show is yet to be confirmed.

Though she predicts awkward scenes if the pair did meet – having heard Megan's side of the story.

"A conversation would need to be had," explained Anna, hinting there is unfinished business between the pair.

"Things could be very difficult. There's certainly unresolved issues there," she added.

Megan and Wes were one of the few couples to sustain a relationship after leaving the Love Island villa but split months after moving in together.

During a recent interview with Vick Hope, Megan said her time with Wes has left her unable to trust other partners and she's only had sex with one other person since their break-up.

Speaking on The Beauty Of It All podcast , Megan admitted: "It has changed the way I dated a lot, before I was very carefree.

"I've always been open – I enjoy sex and I'm very free spirited. If I get with someone and want to sleep with them on that night I do it, but now I am so cautious.

"Since my ex I've slept with one person and I just worry what their intentions are, 'will people find out about this, will they sell a story, are they doing it for the right reasons?' I never even put that into perspective in the villa."
