Hi Anna. What’s in store in the new series of Naked Attraction?
Expect more of the same – classic Naked Attraction. We have a guy called Iain who is a pro wrestler from Manchester. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the TV show Glow but there’s a lot of lycra involved. His pro wrestler name is Jet Fashion, and he’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever come across. Jet because he’s fast and nimble, and fashion because he’s always in style – or so he thinks!
Does he impress the ladies in the pods?
He reckons that his wrestling moves are always a winner with the ladies in the bedroom, and he’s mastered things like the tombstone piledriver wrestling move and is happy to demonstrate with the lucky lady. So it’s vintage Naked Attraction where we get the bods in the pods to do their best wrestling moves to try and impress Jet Fashion along with a bit of soft rock.

What other contestants spring to mind?
As well as the funny side, there’s more touching stories as well. A guy called Carlo is a Leukaemia survivor, and so very nearly lost his life. But he’s also a sexy steeple jack, and is ready to get back into his harness and is looking for the perfect girl to settle down and marry. Because he came so close to losing his life, he’s just a bit like, “Look, when you’ve been through a journey like mine, taking your kit off is nothing and actually I’m really ready to try and meet somebody.”
What’s something that viewers wouldn’t know about the set of Naked Attraction?
We constantly bicker over the temperature controls in the studio. The boys always want it to be warm so their willies look bigger, and the girls always want it to be freezing so their nipples go hard because they want to be seen in the best light. Throughout the day the remote control is being turned up and down.

Can you share any other behind the scenes secrets?
The make-up girls have the hardest job because they literally have to have special brushes to paint in the in-grown hairs. Everyone’s obsessed with removing their pubic hair, and, inevitably if they’ve done it the night before, there’s a shaving rash or in-grown hairs, so the makeup artists have to get up close and personal to people’s genitals and they’ve got to have their special make up brushes to blur out these hairs. A big salute to the make-up team!
Do you have any pre-show rituals before you head out to host?
I don’t really have any rituals, but I like to hang out in my dressing room with a couple of my team. We hang out, gossip, watch Judge Rinder and eat cheese and biscuits before going on.
Over the years, what’s been your most memorable moment?
I really mean it when I say this is my favourite show I’ve ever worked on. I really do look forward to doing it every year. It makes me laugh, and it’s also a joyous exploration of the human body, so I’m grateful to be doing it.
What’s the funniest reaction you’ve had to the show when you’ve been out and about?
It’s the one show that I get most stopped about. I was recently in the middle of the Derbyshire hills with my brother and my dog in my wellies and I stopped for a cup of tea. The woman behind the counter said, “Ooh, you’re that woman from Naked Attraction!” And then she got some Derbyshire oatcakes and said, “Just imagine if I was on, I could have an oatcake there and an oatcake there and one on my fanny.” I’m literally in the middle of nowhere and a woman is holding oatcakes to her breasts and is saying the word fanny!
