Netflix has laid on some treats for fans in July which will keep you firmly inside on the sofa despite the warmer weather. There will be as always a mixture of established favourites returning and shiny new shows. Here’s the best of the TV series on Netflix in July 2019.

Stranger Things season three is the big one for fans of the sci-fi Eighties show as we return to Hawkins in 1985.

This year our kids are entering into adolescence as we find ourselves in a new era complete with Soviet espionage, the Star Mall and rabid rats.

Season three is thought to be ending on a cliffhanger that feeds into the next run.

Orange Is the New Black season seven marks the last-ever series of the female prison dramedy which will be bowing out.


OITNB was one of the first Netflix Originals following on from House of Cards and book down barriers interns of racial diversity and onscreen LGBTQ+ representation.

Queer Eye season four sees the Fab Five return to give you an uplifting oomph if you’re in a funk.

Money Heist season three or La casa de papel part three will be coming back to screens as the critically-acclaimed Spanish-language drama sees the tale of a bank robbery continue to unfold.


Last Chance U: INDY part two sees the Emmy Award-winning documentary coming back to screens.

Part two will offer viewers an unfiltered look at the junior college football program at Independence Community College.

In terms of new shows, there an insightful documentary looking into the Cambridge Analytica scandal called The Great Hack.

The Great Hack will look at the dark side of social media in the run-up to the 2016 presidential campaign.


Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein will sate those missing American Vandal.
