One bedroom flat with tiny 'three-quarter bathtub' has people in hysterics
A one bedroom property up for rent in Liverpool has swept Twitter due to its unique bathroom, featuring a short ‘three-quarter bathtub’ that could barely fit a child.
The unfurnished first floor flat, located in Vale Lodge along Rice Lane in Liverpool, is now up to rent at £525 per month.
It comes with a modern kitchen, washing machine, brand new hob, a carpeted living room, a walk-in cupboard hall, a corner shower and the most striking feature of all – a ‘3/4 bathtub’.
Advertised on OpenRent.co.uk, it bears the description: ‘1 Bedroom freshly decorated and refurbished throughout, first floor unfurnished Flat in the exclusive gated community of Vale Lodge.
‘Complete with modern kitchen including washing machine and brand-new hob/oven, refitted bathroom with large walk-in corner shower, 3/4 bath, spacious lounge with carpets fitted throughout.’
On top of that, you’ll have double glazing throughout, and just a short walk to local shops and train stations.
Twitter user @_altx shared photos of the property on her page, which has since gone viral gaining over 4.9K likes. She captioned the post: ‘Why has this flat got literally half a f***in bath.’
The post left users in hysterics over the flat’s unique bathroom design. One said: ‘Screaming imagine sat with ye legs crossed in the bath.’
Another added: ‘That design makes no sense, why not just put a bath with a shower in that space instead!’
Meanwhile, one wrote: ‘Do you reckon when they built the shower and realised how small the bath. They said it will be fine no one will notice.’
It’s certainly an interesting design choice, given there’s a double shower adjacent to the mini bath.
Petite people and those who wish to save money on a baby bath, however, might just love it.
