Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice look closer than ever as they leave It Takes Two together
STRICTLY'S Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice looked closer than ever as they left It Takes Two together.
Their appearance comes after fans were convinced their dramatic 'break-up dance’ last Saturday was a secret nod to his split from Maura Higgins.
Rose looked sensational in an autumnal floral print frock as Giovanni put his arm around her waist.
The EastEnders actress, who fans have tipped to win the show, showed off her svelte figure in a long sleeved maxi dress with a turtle neck top.
Gio looked dapper in a tailored green suit as he beamed alongside Rose.
His colourful tie even matched with Rose's dress as the pair looked picture perfect.
Their outing came as fans couldn't help but wonder if the duo's dramatic dance last weekend was about his recent break-up.
Giovanni, 31, and Rose, 24, danced to Alicia Key's emotional 2009 anthem Fallin' and told a story of a stormy relationship.
They acted out the couple being drawn together and pushing each other away before reuniting passionately in a dance that earned Rose her first '10' score.
Even judge Shirley Ballas was overcome with emotion watching the performance saying it reminded her of "all my ex-husbands."
"All the saying 'go away', 'no come here', it took me back," she told them.
But for viewers at home they couldn't help but notice the depiction of the tumultuous couple came after The Sun revealed the Strictly pro dancer and Love Island star Maura Higgins, 30, had split after four months of dating.
"Interesting concept considering gio just split with maura," pointed out one fan on Twitter.
Another added: "Was Giovanni describing his relationship with Maura?"
