SAS Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton says Rebel Wilson is 'not scared' of anything after her 40-pound weight loss
SAS Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton says Rebel Wilson was "not scared" of anything after her 40-pound weight loss.
The former Royal Marines Commando joined the Pitch Perfect actress on a journey of discovery to Mexico for Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking.
And talking to Graham Norton on his new radio show on Virgin Radio, he revealed viewers will see "a completely different side to her".
"She is larger than life, she is sensitive but Rebel knows what she wants, she goes after it and she uses all the positive traits that she has in order to get what she wants," he told Graham on today's show.
"But she is not scared of going into those dangerous places – this episode you get to see a completely different side to her."
The show is set to air early next year on Sky One and NOW TV and will see the pair bond as they travel with only a 4×4 and their personal backpacks.
It will be a chance for fans of Rebel, who recently shed 40 pounds, to hear the star talk about her life in the public eye – as well as see the two take on buggy racing and deep-sea diving.
And Ant gave Graham his top tips for getting exercise done in January.
"The best thing to do is as soon as you wake up is to get up and get it done," he said.
"The moment you start to sort of get on with your day and one thing turns into another and before you know it, the whole day’s run away from you, the best thing to do is wake up, do a quick half an hour of whatever it may be, get yourself in an uncomfortable position where you're going to do it because you will feel a million times better and it will set you up for your day if you get it done first thing in the morning.
"But just get up. I literally remember when I was in the military, I had to roll out my bed and hit the floor just to try to wake me up to go.
"Right, get up. Get out and get it done. So that's my best piece of advice."
