Selling Sunset's Maya Vander complains she 'totally lost screen time' as Chrishell's divorce took over show
SELLING Sunset star Maya Vander has hit out that Chrishell's divorce has cost her screen time.
The realtor complained that she was side-lined in favour of focussing on Chrishell's emotional divorce.
Unlike her co-stars Chrishell Stause and Amanza Smith, she admitted she was glossed over because she "doesn't provide the drama".
The brunette opened up to the Access All Areas show hosted by Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on FUBAR Radio.
She told them about her time on the Netflix hit show: "Last season focused on Chrishell's divorce and you had Amanza also, which is a new girl, so I totally lost I think screen time.
"But I don't have an ego so I'm fine losing screen time. But I think you can show more of me a little bit as well!"
Speaking about the potential fourth season, she revealed she doesn't know if she will even be included.
She shared: "I don't know if they even want me if they do season four because I don't provide the drama!"
But the top selling agent said she'd be upset if she wasn't asked back.
"Being on the show on Netflix, it's an amazing opportunity so I would be a little bit disappointed.
"Sure, I'm not providing the drama but I think I can add some value to it."
The TV star opened up about why her husband won't ever be a permanent part of the show.
She said: "My husband is wonderful. I wish I could show him in the show but unfortunately I cannot…
"I feel like maybe him being on a reality show, like our show, with all the drama and nonsense at times, I feel like it could risk actually him losing his job, so unfortunately I cannot show him as much."
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is currently one of the contestants on Dancing With The Stars.
Her involvement with the dancing show comes a year after the agent filed for divorce with ex-husband Justin Hartley.
Stause said she was "blindsided" by the shock split.
In their November filing, the couple cited irreconcilable differences as reason for their divorce after two years of marriage.
Stause has not publicly said she's dating anyone now – but did allude to talking to people on social media.
Reality show Selling Sunset increased in popularity during lockdown.
The series tracks a group of agents as they sell high-end residential properties in Los Angeles, marketed by the Oppenheim Group.
