Spoilers: Frankie is Mick's secret daughter in huge EastEnders twist?

Frankie Lewis’ (Rose Ayling-Ellis) infatuation with little Ollie Carter in EastEnders has led some fans to believe that the young woman in question might be Mick’s (Danny Dyer) secret daughter.

Speculation started when the BBC One soap dropped a trailer for its return to screens on September 7, and Frankie could be seen taking snaps of Mick and Ollie on her camera.

In last Monday’s episode (September 14), she hit it off with Tina (Luisa Braddshaw-White), who then took her to The Vic to meet her family.

While there, Frankie seemingly struck up quite a bond with Ollie — informing him that he reminds her of her little brother Harry, who died ten years ago.

What’s more, Frankie stared quite a bit at both Mick and Ollie, leading viewers to believe there was going to be some sort of connection between the two characters.

In scenes next week, Mick discovers that Frankie has been taking pictures of not only Ollie, but of his whole family, and asks her to delete them — suggesting that Linda (Kellie Bright) would be worried about privacy.

There is evidently a reason as to why Frankie has become rather obsessed with the Carter clan, and this — coupled with the fact that Mick is set to have a huge and important story — has led some fans to wonder if Frankie could be Mick’s secret daughter.

Frankie being revealed as Mick’s daughter would certainly be a twist, but it’s one that is rather hard to get your head around given the fact that it seems unlikely Mick would’ve ever cheated on Linda.

Mind you, this is the land of soap we’re talking about, so stranger things have happened, we guess!

Could Frankie really be Mick’s secret daughter?

Or is there perhaps another reason she’s hanging round the Carters?

EastEnders continues Thursday September 24 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
