Spoilers: Lucas kills Jack in act of jealous rage over Denise in EastEnders?
Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet) wasn’t pleased to see Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) kissing Denise Fox (Diane Parish) in EastEnders tonight (January 5).
Denise was left shaken over the festive period, when she came face-to-face with murderous ex Lucas.
Lucas claimed that he’d changed, and daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) attempted to back up such claims, but Denise was having none of it.
She’s been left terrified ever since her encounter with the murderer — so much so that she’s been afraid to leave the house.
Jack has made clear that he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, and Denise has been touched by his devotion.
The pair had previously broken up over Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) involvement in their lives ever since Raymond returned to Walford, but — with Jack having sucessfully acquired DI Thompson’s (Phillip Wright) information on the Mitchell hard-man — he reconsidered.
Yes, he informed Denise that he wants to give their relationship another chance, but little did they know that — as they kissed in the Square — Lucas was watching from afar.
The murderer wasn’t pleased about Jack and Denise’s display of affection, but will he take action?
Will he perhaps murder Jack in a jealous rage?
It’s clear that he’s stalking Denise, so either way, there is danger afoot, that’s for sure.
EastEnders continues Thursday January 7 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
